Vampires don’t really need mundane food in order to
survive, however, coexisting meant they had to live the ways as
that of the humans — hence, they were obliged to eat in order
to cease any amount of suspicions regarding their true nature.
The fact that he was out in this time of the day, alone with
a
huntress (whom he deemed as a threat) in one of the most
fanciest restaurant in town —- wasn’t something that he
originally planned. Vague memories from earlier flashed
through the pureblood’s mind, grasped so strong pullingforcing him out from his quarters && petite frame that
marches along the streets with strides he thought wasn’t
possible given her stature. Both weren’t the best in terms
of relationship, first impression lasts or so they say.
Yet her insistence left him appalled && he was not given
enough time to reject as she had already dragged him
along into her whims. && then they dined, food of
the finest qualities laid at the table for their eyes &&
mouth to feast on. He was reluctant but it didn’t stop
him nonetheless. Top grade quality meat at his disposal,
his silverware inching closer, cutting thin slices of the
finely cooked medium rare flesh. Then he chews.
Wine hues glancing at the person into his view, her
child-like behaviour, almost, caused him to crack
up a
laughter. Yet he suppressed the urges as he
fed
himself with another slice. It tastes okay. he
noted.
It was tender && was seasoned well. Much
better
than he expected. Eyes glued on his plate,
he
notices vegetables of varying types was dumped
onto his meal. It appears that someone doesn’t
have the appetite for it, he shifted his gaze back
at the culprit, lips curling into a small smirk. He
cuts through his dish, giving them a shake
of
his
head indicating his amusement && disbelief.
